Introduction

Hi I'm Sara and I would love to join this group. I want to meet other people who are interested in the Arabic culture.

Do you speak Arabic? If so, what dialect(s). Do you know Modern Standard Arabic (FuSHa?) Can you read, write or speak FuSHa? Your answers will help us better offer suitable language workshops for the club.

I speak Arabic, Egyptian dialect only.

Have you visited the Middle East, &, if so, where & in what capacity? For that matter, where have you traveled outside the US? Do you speak any other languages besides English & Arabic? No, this info won't be shared with the FBI !

Egypt, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and London.

How did you find this group and, now that you're here, what do you want from it? For example, do you prefer Middle Eastern Music events, Dinner Parties, Language Workshops, Live Theatre, or just getting together to meet new people and have fun?

I prefer to do it all.

Do you have any experience working with Non-Profits? I ask because I'm considering establishing the club as a Non-Profit in the near future.

What is your current job/profession/field? What is your dream job?

I work for HRA.

The group organizer seemed very friendly and welcoming. I wish to get to know the other members in this group. People should join this group so Americans and Arabs can get to know each other on a more personal level. This is a good way to wash away common hatred toward Arabs.
