I'm Lisa Vives, studied Arabic for 2 years but forgot a lot. I'm interested in culture, world affairs, and your group looks great!
Do you speak Arabic? If so, what dialect(s). Do you know Modern Standard Arabic (FuSHa?) Can you read, write or speak FuSHa? Your answers will help us better offer suitable language workshops for the club.
My teacher was from Lebanon.
Have you visited the Middle East, &, if so, where & in what capacity? For that matter, where have you traveled outside the US? Do you speak any other languages besides English & Arabic? No, this info won't be shared with the FBI !
never traveled to Middle East. I've been to Central & South America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada, Europe, and I speak Spanish, some French, some Portuguese, and a few words of Arabic.
How did you find this group and, now that you're here, what do you want from it? For example, do you prefer Middle Eastern Music events, Dinner Parties, Language Workshops, Live Theatre, or just getting together to meet new people and have fun?

Current job, news director at a global news organization. My dream job might be installing solar panels all over the world. My current job is the next best thing.
