Introduction
Hi...I'm interesting in learning Arabic and meeting people with an interest in Middle Eastern culture.
Do you speak Arabic? If so, what dialect(s). Do you know Modern Standard Arabic (FuSHa?) Can you read, write or speak FuSHa? Your answers will help us better offer suitable language workshops for the club.
I don't know Arabic beyond a few random words,
Have you visited the Middle East, &, if so, where & in what capacity? For that matter, where have you traveled outside the US? Do you speak any other languages besides English & Arabic? No, this info won't be shared with the FBI !
Besides traveling to Europe, I've visted Israel, the Palestinian Territories, and Turkey all on vacation.
How did you find this group and, now that you're here, what do you want from it? For example, do you prefer Middle Eastern Music events, Dinner Parties, Language Workshops, Live Theatre, or just getting together to meet new people and have fun?
I just found this group searching online. I'm interesting in learning Arabic, in broadening my interest in Middle Eastern culture, and in meeting new people. I'd be interesting in attending both language workshops and cultural events.
Do you have any experience working with Non-Profits? I ask because I'm considering establishing the club as a Non-Profit in the near future.
I've never worked with any non-profits.
