Hi I'm from Istanbul, Turkey and been in New York for about 10 years. I love New York especially because it is very cosmopolitan. I look forward meeting new people on this site.
Do you speak Arabic? If so, what dialect(s). Do you know Modern Standard Arabic (FuSHa?) Can you read, write or speak FuSHa? Your answers will help us better offer suitable language workshops for the club.

Have you visited the Middle East, &, if so, where & in what capacity? For that matter, where have you traveled outside the US? Do you speak any other languages besides English & Arabic? No, this info won't be shared with the FBI !
I grew up in Istanbul, Turkey. i've visited a lot of countries in Europe, lived in Copenhagen, Denmark for couple months, and Munich, Germany, for 5 years before moving to New York 10 years ago. I speak Turkish, French and German, aside from English.
How did you find this group and, now that you're here, what do you want from it? For example, do you prefer Middle Eastern Music events, Dinner Parties, Language Workshops, Live Theatre, or just getting together to meet new people and have fun?
I am a professional belly dancer, and teacher. I am interested in meeting people close to my culture to meet socially to exchange ideas and information any topic, including music, dancing and arts.
Do you have any experience working with Non-Profits? I ask because I'm considering establishing the club as a Non-Profit in the near future.

What is your current job/profession/field? What is your dream job?
My dream job and profession are the same; dancing. My vision is opening an expressive dance studio in New York, and also introducing belly dancing more on big stage shows.
