Introduction

I want to learn conversational arabic & I am looking for a place to practice.

Do you speak Arabic? If so, what dialect(s). Do you know Modern Standard Arabic (FuSHa?) Can you read, write or speak FuSHa? Your answers will help us better offer suitable language workshops for the club.

I know a few words & can read phonetically. Otherwise, I am a beginner.

Have you visited the Middle East, &, if so, where & in what capacity? For that matter, where have you traveled outside the US? Do you speak any other languages besides English & Arabic? No, this info won't be shared with the FBI !

I've been to Israel twice & Egypt once.

How did you find this group and, now that you're here, what do you want from it? For example, do you prefer Middle Eastern Music events, Dinner Parties, Language Workshops, Live Theatre, or just getting together to meet new people and have fun?

I shared an Arabic class with Michael.

Do you have any experience working with Non-Profits? I ask because I'm considering establishing the club as a Non-Profit in the near future.

What is your current job/profession/field? What is your dream job?

I run the library at a for-profit business school catering primarily to students at the high school equivalency level.
